Cleaning Product Safety
When working with cleaning chemicals, remember to:
read the product label or the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
ensure exhaust fans in facility restrooms are in working order and are used when handling strong chemicals. Bleach is especially reactive and should only be used in a well-ventilated location.
be sure contract employees are complying with our established safe work practices and adhere to product warnings.
